“Fair play to Frances and Cookstown team really well run meeting. I can’t thank Noel Brennan enough for the loan of an engine for my R6 and to get a second and third on it was brilliant.
The first Open went well and I finished second behind Derek Sheils and felt comfortable.
In the Grand Final I went with wrong rear tyre and had no grip and I really struggled, but still came away with 4th.
Fair play to Gary Dunlop, he gave me a great bike again and we got fourth, I really enjoy riding 125 and starting to get a feel for it.
I can’t thank my team enough Roddy, Jude, Jason and Michael and my sponsors NW Racing, Noel Doyne, CITP, Motodirect, RST, Arai, Procraft, Sonic Tools, Faulkner Sheds, Xtreme Engineering, Dunlop, Eagle Motors, next stop the TT.”
Noel Williamson added:
“I am delighted how Derek is getting used to the BMW and we are really looking forward to the TT.”
