Timothee Monot completes TC Racing’s TT 2017 rider line up, as he joins Sweden’s Bjorn Gunnarsson, for competition in the Lightweight race.
Just like the majority of the Lightweight field, Timothee will be ER6 Kawasaki mounted, for the four lap race, which since first competing in at TT 2013 has seen him secure series of highly creditable results.
This includes 20th in last years race, as the Frenchman finished in front of many an accomplished Mountain Course exponent.
Established as one of France’s leading pure road racers, his current personal best finish at the TT Races, is sixth in the 2014 SES TT Zero encounter.
Outside of the most famous road race in the world, he has impressed many with his performances at the Classic TT, wrapping up in recent years top ten finishes on his own teams RC30 Honda and 750 Yamaha mounts.
Now linking up with TC Racing who’s title sponsor is once again DP Coldplaning, it marks a fresh enterprising new opportunity for Timothee.
TC Racing, Team Manager, Mick Charnock, is delighted to have gained Timothee’s services for TT 2017.
A statement recently posted on their Facebook page, regarding their rider line up for this years TT Races, is as follows:
“The line up is now complete with Tim joining us for the Lightweight TT onboard the TC Racing/DP Coldplaning Kawasaki ER 650.
We have known Tim since his early days at the MGP and he has kept in touch with the team ever since.
His career highlights so far have been 2 top ten finishes in the Classic F1 TT on the immaculate RC30 and Yamaha 750 plus a top twenty in the lightweight TT in 2016.
We all look forward to working with Tim and wish him a safe and successful 2017 road racing season.”
