Douglas speedster Michael Evans, is set to race 1000cc Suzuki tackle at next year’s TT Races, following a recent machine acquisition from Gorilla Racing.
Commenting via Facebook about plans with the newly acquired Suzuki, he stated:
“I am excited to start riding the new bike and getting it ready for the year ahead.
It’s time to get thinking about design and colours.
If anyone wants to support the season as a business or individual, I have some race sponsorship options starting at £500, please message me if you want to know more. Exciting things coming up too.
Next stop – Spain for testing January 2023!”
A triple Manx GP winner, yesteryear Superbike class winner at the Pre-TT Classic, Evans has also enjoyed many an impressive result at the Southern 100, providing tenacious, gritty opposition to roads ‘Aliens’ such as Michael Dunlop and Dean Harrison.
In June, Evans enjoyed his strongest TT race week tenure to date, with standout highlights including an excellent ninth in the Super Twins race and setting a new personal best lap speed of 125.54 mph.
