Oliver’s Mount specialist Brian Greenfield, confirmed yesterday that he will be backed by PMH Promotions for all meetings at Scarborough in 2017.
2016 at the mount, saw Brian wrap up series of excellent results. Amongst them was a highly creditable tenth place finish in the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup.
Plus series of seventh place finishes where acquired in the Senior races, at the Cock of The North.
One of Brian’s best ever performances at England’s only pure road racing circuit, was in the opening Senior A race, at the 2014 Gold Cup meeting.
Finishing a more than creditable seventh, in front of roads stalwarts Davy Morgan and Paul Owen, opening laps of the race saw him embroiled in a battle, with none other than 23 times TT winner John McGuinness which saw him more than hold his own, with his illustrious counterpart.
An accomplished exponent of Oliver’s Mount, Brian is delighted to have gained backing this year, from Peter Hillaby’s PMH Promotions company.
Commenting on this topic, via his Facebook page, he stated:
“I am happy to announce that I have been chosen to be sponsored by PMH promotions for this year’s racing with Auto 66 at Oliver’s Mount Scarborough.
This will make a massive difference to this seasons racing for me helping keeping costs down. I am looking forward to working with PMH throughout 2017 season.
Thank you to Peter Hillaby for this opportunity.”
