Anthony’s answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Southern 100, whether your a competitor or a spectator the Southern 100 is a must at least once, trouble is, once is all it takes to be hooked.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“I Love all the bikes I’ve raced for different reasons and I love some more than others, but I am still waiting to ride the magical one, one that has all the handling, speed, stopping power and grin factor you could ever ask for.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“Love everything about road racing, from the buzz of racing on the roads at sustained high speeds, through to the big race family, hardcore marshals and dedicated spectators. After participation on the roads, short circuit events slip into ‘fun test days’.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“TT – the world’s best motorcycle road race! Would love to try the Ulster GP though if funds ever allow.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“I don’t really have any rivals, but I have massive respect for anyone who has ever raced on the roads. It takes a lot of effort and dedication just to be able to start in a road race.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“I felt really proud and privileged to ride the Mountain Course, with the number 1 plate at the Manx Grand Prix in 2014.
The fortnight didn’t quite go to plan machine wise, but whenever I read a book or see a race picture about someone sporting the number 1 plate around the Mountain Course, I get a giddy inside smile!.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“Would love to see Jurby roads circuit return, this was my first real road race in 2007 and I knew then I was totally hooked on the roads.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“I race against a few of them now which is such a privilege, but I remember marshalling with my uncle Alan at the Black Dub at the TT when David Jefferies went past at vast speed, it left the hairs on my neck tingling and me speechless for about 5 minutes!”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Superbike, although still waiting to ride a real ‘full on’ Superbike, in fact I’ve never rode a ‘full on’ Supersport bike either.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Both, plus the race win makes a better night in the pub afterwards!”
