A former race winner at the prestigious Gold Cup meeting at Scarborough, Oliver’s Mount, prospective newcomer this year to the Classic TT, Julian Tillotson, is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News ten questions challenge.

The Bolton based racer, answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Favourite national roads meeting would have to be the Oliver’s Mount events, as I have not yet ventured out of UK yet, but 2018 I will be doing some of the Irish meetings and hopefully the Classic TT.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“Favourite racing bike would have to be my GSXR 750 K7 Suzuki, first race bike I had I loved it from word go.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“Best part about competing on the roads is the adrenaline you gain, from pushing as hard as you can on a closed road, nothing comes close to it, it’s great.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“I have not yet done any of these, but I would love to do the TT.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“I don’t really have one, I have full respect for everyone on the grid.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Best roads moment would have to be rather winning the Gold Cup B race in 2015, or also gaining at Scarborough, a top three finish in the opening Super Twins race at the Cock O’The North in 2016, both was great results for us.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Would have to be Rivington, there is some great roads around there.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“Road race hero would have to be David Jefferies, what a guy he was.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Superbike any day.”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap, it’s always nice knowing your quickest on track.”
