17th within the Dundrod 150 Challenge race of 2016, his answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“So far the Ulster Grand Prix. Organisation is spot on, atmosphere and the circuit are brilliant.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“Has to be my ZX6R Kawasaki, helps getting up to speed at events, prior to piloting my newly acquired ZX10 Kawasaki.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“The roads community are the best, it doesn’t matter if you are at the front or mid pack everyone stays helpful and approachable.

That follows through to the organisers and marshals, no one is higher in this sport, yes you have the crowd pullers but not within the sport itself.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“I would love to compete at the TT, that was and still is my dream but I started to late with the sport and with new age restrictions, it almost looks impossible now, it doesn’t stop my entries going in though!.

North West 200, I have my entry in for this year, will have a clearer idea as to my impression about it, by the end of May.

Ulster GP though is absolutely my favourite road race up to now, will be racing there this year funds allowing.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“North East A68 road onto Wolsingham and through Tow Law.”

“Michael Dunlop”
