Steve Mercer is all set for the superbike, superstock and senior TT races this year with the Penz BMW team. Steve made his TT debut in 2009 and has since achieved top 15 finishes at the TT whilst also lapping at over 126 mph, making Steve one of the 20 fastest ever riders at the Isle of Man TT.

Steve said regarding the Penz BMW superstock bike that the BMW HP4 is a good bike and that the main aim is a top 10 finish in the big bike races.

Most recently Steve made his debut at the North West 200 where Steve showed good speed in practice before unfortunately the weather ruined any chance of Steve taking part in the superbike and superstock races. Plus Steve has this season competed for the Penz BMW team at the Bol d’or world endurance championship race where Steve and the team finished in the top 5 whilst winning the superstock class in the race.

At Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough Steve has achieved many a top result including winning overall the Ian Watson spring cup in 2012. A top rider on both roads and short circuits Steve Mercer is a great all round rider with a fantastic future ahead of him at the Isle of Man TT where in 2013 Steve will be hoping for his first top ten finish at the TT.
