Seasoned roads exponent Robert Wilson, is confirmed to compete at TT 2017, with the Stoddart Racing team.
In the last six years the Scotsman has developed into an established highly touted, TT Races competitor.
His current personal best result around the Mountain Course, came in the 2014 SES TT Zero race finishing in fourth place, when he took the SP7 Sarolea to within 0.37 of a second, to sealing a podium finish.
Outside of the TT Zero class, his undoubted Supersport prowess has been showcased on multiple occasions, this includes 13th in the opening Supersport encounter at TT 2012, plus in total four top 15 finishes.
Next years Monster Energy Supersport races, are set to see him pilot YZF R6 Yamaha machinery, under the Stoddart Racing banner.
Under rated by many, it would not surprise me if Robert is in contention for top ten finishes, he has in my opinion the roads craft to target this potential feat.
Considered amongst Scotland’s leading pure road racers, Robert Wilson goes into TT 2017, with the increased experience, knowledge and machinery to propel him to more positive moments on the magical Mountain Course.
