Commenting on his expectations for the 2016 Cookstown 100, Michael said:
“I’ve always loved riding at Cookstown, because it’s normally the first road of the year which was great, It’s a lovely little circuit and the big crowds and atmosphere really make it for the competitor, and most importantly, it is always a very well run meeting.
I’m looking forward to getting back in action again, but there are so many good road racers out there, it isn’t going to be easy.
Leaving William and Michael out of the equation, as they won’t do all nationals, but there is a new kid on the block, Malachi Mitchell Thomas, he’s no dozer, McGee, top man Sheils, he is the danger man!, yes, its going to be tough, but its gonna be good!“
