Duke Road Race Rankings championship leader William Dunlop, set the pace in opening qualifying at Faugheen 50 Road Races.
Showing more top class form on superstock spec Tyco BMW, the 2015 Irish road race supersport champion lapped at 1 minute 16.932 seconds to finish 0.781 in front of second quickest Derek McGee.
Brian Mccormack impressed in finishing third fastest whilst John Walsh showed excellent form in finishing fourth in qualifying.
In form Seamus Elliott was fifth quickest on JFM Haulage R6 Yamaha, recently Seamus lapped at over 128 mph at the Ulster Grand Prix, when competing on Wilson Craig Racing CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade.
Faugheen newcomer Paul Jordan rounded out the top six following lap time of 1 minute 22.382 seconds. Paul is amongst the most improved riders in pure road racing, he is the current leader of the Irish road race 125 championship.
Noel Carroll finished a more than creditable seventh fastest whilst rising star Thomas Maxwell eighth quickest, carried on his good form as seen around Dundrod during the Ulster Grand Prix.
Top ten in qualifying was finalised by Michal Dokoupil and Dean Campbell, who is enjoying an excellent first season on the roads.
