Reigning Irish road race superbike champion William Dunlop, is a confirmed starter for the 2016 Skerries Road Races.
Battling back to full fitness from injuries sustained in an opening practice crash at TT 2016, William recently qualified on pole for the open, supersport and grand final races at Kells.
His 2016 roads campaign to date, has been at times a challenging one, despite this there has still been many a positive moment which include, supersport wins at the Tandragee 100 and Cookstown 100, plus second place finish in the SES TT zero race.
Looking to get back to top form before the world’s fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix, William is determined to secure string of world class results around Dundrod.
Victories at the post TT races, saw the 2015 Duke Road Race Rankings champion regain some confidence, after a character building TT 2016.
A frequent collector of first class results at Skerries, William’s entry into the popular meeting, adds an additional touch of star quality to the entry list.
