Third fastest across opening stages of qualifying, Dunlop MBE’s penultimate timed lap (1.34.474) saw him oust Michael Sweeney at the top of the times sheet standings.
As qualifying wrapped up, the margin between Dunlop MBE (MD Racing BMW) and Sweeney (Martin Jones Racing BMW), stood at 0.715 of a second.
Behind the Michael’s, third to sixth quickest, covered by below two seconds, were Brian McCormack (1.37.367), Ryan Whitehall (1.38.164), Marcus Simpson (1.38.797) and James Chawke (1.39.588).
