TT 2020 Latest: McCormack Set For 11th TT Campaign

Set for his 11th TT Races campaign, Waterford’s Brian McCormack is quietly confident of enjoying another productive two week Mountain Course tenure at TT 2020.

A former Open class winner at Faugheen, multiple top ten finisher at the Ulster Grand Prix, last year saw the Republic of Ireland’s fastest TT competitor excel and some in the 1000cc races.

11th within the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock races, the showpiece six lap Dunlop Senior race would see him bank a second top ten TT finish, finishing ninth in front of world class International road racers such as Gary Johnson, Horst Saiger and Irish Road Race Superbike Champion Derek Sheils.

Potentially a seeded rider for this June’s 1000cc TT encounters, his latest racing quest on Manx shores sees him pilot brand new S1000RR BMW machinery for the On1 Racing team, who enjoy title support from the Roadhouse Macau.

Additional 2020 plans alongside the all important TT trip for McCormack and the On1 Racing squad include returning to the North West 200, Macau Grand Prix and taking in hand picked Mondello Masters, Ulster Superbike Championship, British Superstock Championship meetings.
