TT 2016 – Monday Practice – Great Start For John Holden/Andrew Winkle

John Holden/Andrew Winkle enjoyed a great start to their TT 2016 campaign, as they finished tonight’s sidecar practice around the Mountain Course quickest.

Lapping at 112.055 mph, on the Silicone Engineering Racing Honda powered outfit, the duo have showed this evening, that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the Sure sidecar races.


Second fastest was father and son duo Ian Bell/Carl Bell 111.808 mph, tipped by many to be in contention for at least podium finishes.

The all conquering Birchall brothers Ben and Tom, third quickest, began the defence of their Sure sidecar TT titles, in solid fashion, lapping at 108.981 mph, on their own outfit backed by IEG (International Energy Group).

Alan Founds/Aki Aalto 108.663 mph where next up, they where followed by Tony Baker/Fiona Baker Milligan 107.914 mph.

Concluding the top six in practice was Steve Ramsden/Matty Ramsden.

Wayne Lockey/Mark Sayers, Gary Bryan/Jamie Winn finished seventh and eighth quickest as Dwight Beare/Benjamin Binns, ninth fastest, showed why many believe they could spring a surprise or two during TT 2016.

The top ten during a practice session held in top class conditions, was rounded out by Tim Reeves/Patrick Farrance.
