Its a top line up for this years supersport TT races. Start numbers 1-8 remain the same as seen in the superbike and senior TT races with TT legend John Mcguinness leading the race away but at number nine for the supersport races is Keith Amor. Keith back at the TT this year having being out of action for two years is competing on a CBR 600 Honda for Site Sealants B&W racing.

Michael Rutter competing for Smiths Triumph at TT 2014 is away at number 15 whilst Jamie Hamilton, Dan Cooper and Robert Wilson are all assigned seeded numbers starting at numbers 18,19 and 20. Ivan Lintin competing for Taylor Lindsey racing has start number 24 in front of Simon Andrews who competed in the supersport TT races for the first time last year.

Rising stars Ryan Kneen and James Cowton are two riders who could spring a surprise or two, Ryan has the start number 29 whilst James competing on his own teams CBR 600 Honda has start number 37. Reigning junior Manx Grand Prix winner Michael Sweeney who is competing on a R6 Yamaha at TT 2014 has start number 50 whilst experienced Manx Grand Prix competitor Rab Davie starts with number 75.

Connor Behan competing in his first TT races for KMR Kawasaki this year has start number 72, newcomers Alan Bonner and Laurent Hoffmann round the entry list going at numbers 98 and 99. In all a highly competitive entry list for the supersport races of TT 2014 which could well see the first 130 mph lap for the supersport class at the Isle of Man TT, Michael Dunlop is targeting this feat and having lapped at 128.6 mph last year in supersport TT race 2 who’s to say the seven time TT winner will not achieve this.
