Top Five Sidecar Teams Of The Season – 2nd – John Holden/Dan Sayle

Finishing second in Road Racing News top five sidecar teams of the 2015 pure road racing season is, John Holden/Dan Sayle.

With Andrew Winkle ruled out of TT 2015 due to a hand injury, Dan Sayle joined John Holden in the Honda powered Silicone Engineering Racing outfit.

Sure sidecar encounters saw the top draw combination, secure series of high quality results.

Opening sidecar race during TT 2015, would see John and Dan finish in second place, as they both showed their proven quality around the mountain course.

Second Sure sidecar race, would prove to be a quite memorable one as both Ben Birchall/Tom Birchall and Dave Molyneux/Benjamin Binns broke Nick Crowe’s sidecar TT lap record which had stood for eight years.

For John and Dan they themselves set a lightning quick pace in finishing third, along the way lapping close to the 116 mph mark.

The Southern 100 saw the Silicone Engineering Racing duo embroiled in another classic race, this time the sidecar championship as they battled around Billown against Tim Reeves/Mark Wilkes and Ian Bell/Carl Bell.

They went onto finish second, having been involved in a race, which showed just how competitive sidecar racing is on the roads today.

For next year John Holden is rejoined by Andrew Winkle at Silicone Engineering Racing, whilst Dan Sayle teams up with 17 times TT winner Dave Molyneux as they lead the Klaffi Racing team challenge.
