Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Tom Weeden, is all set to compete for The Peoples Bike Team at TT 2017.
The rising roads star is set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Steve Mercer, Stephen Thompson, Dan Hegarty and Alan Bonner, in competing for the team, who since 2009 have established themselves, as true stalwarts of the TT paddock.
Having been in my opinion one of the shining stars of the 2016 roads season, Tom goes into next season, amongst the most highly rated rising roads exponents.
His machinery for 2017 sees him back on his trusty 675 Daytona Triumph, plus a newly acquired CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade, as he moves onto 1000cc machinery for the first time.
Following his stellar heroics at this year’s Manx GP, there’s no doubt that he has the talent, drive and determination to enjoy next year a memorable maiden TT Races campaign.
Commenting on leading The Peoples Bike Team’s TT 2017 challenge, an extremely happy Tom said:
“I’d just like to say I’m over the moon to be joining up with The People’s Bike in 2017 for the TT. The team ethos is spot on and I can’t wait to get stuck in and have some fun at the same time.
There’s no pressure, I just want to relax, enjoy it and I’m sure the results will be a testament of this as I ride at my best when I’m comfortable and relaxed.
I’m sure the People’s Bike can give me this freedom and take the stress and worry away about making my debut at the TT! Roll on 2017, it can’t come soon enough!”
