Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“First memory was watching David Jefferies on his V&M Yamaha.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“Favourite part is rolling onto the start grid in front of a big crowd no feeling like it and then waiting for the lights to change.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Quarry Hill and the Esses, nice fast and flowing.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Probably my last time out on the Classic Superbike, securing two 4th place finishes.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“So many but probably Dave Jefferies he used to ride round there effortlessly, usually on the back wheel.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“I’d love to have a go on a RS 250, even though I’m probably a bit big for it or a 916 Ducati in the classic Superbike races.”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Atmosphere”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“Met Allan Brodie at the last meeting (Barry Sheene Classic) had a few good battles with him in the Classic Superbike races, nice lad.”
