Ulster GP Super Twins Front Runner Loughlin Set For TT 2020 Voyage With Team ILR

Ulster Grand Prix Super Twins front runner Joe Loughlin is set to take on an enterprising, momentous challenge next year, as he competes for the first time around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

Castleblayney’s Loughlin, winner in 2017 of the Irish Road Race Junior Support & Senior Support Championships, maiden Mountain Course voyage will see him compete at TT 2020 with Team ILR (Ian Lougher Racing) with Mark Coverdale, piloting YZF R6 Yamaha, S1-R Paton machinery within the Supersport, Lightweight races.

As previously mentioned, a prime contender for Super Twins success at the FonaCAB Ulster Grand Prix, next generation roads talent Loughlin impressed many roads aficionados, team owners, 100’s of race fans with his pace and race craft on route to a brace of ultra close runner-up finishes.

Alongside his podium finishing performances at Dundrod, Loughlin also quietly impressed this year at the North West 200, securing a brace of very creditable finishes including a top six placing in the second Supersport race held in damp, wet conditions.

Equally proficient on Supersport, Super Twin machinery, there’s no question that he has the core roads craft, proven ability to give an accomplished account of himself at TT 2020, which takes place in 262 days time!
