Millsport racing are set to return to action at the international road races in 2015. The team in 2007 with Conor Cummins were victorious in the Irish road race superbike championship following string of top quality performances from the Manxman.
Whilst Conor was also victorious in Duke road race rankings in 2007 which marked the centenary year of competition at the Isle of Man TT. For Millsport TT 2007 which prove to be hugely momentous for them as Conor competing on the teams R1 Yamaha finished in sixth position in senior TT to finish leading Yamaha mounted rider.
Since then Millsport racing have worked with many different riders including Jimmy Moore at TT 2009 whilst in 2012 they joined forces with Lee Johnston.
The talented rider secured second place finish in opening superstock race at North West 200 on the unique sounding Pagniale Ducati. Following action around the triangle Lee then went onto have a highly productive debut on the mountain course at TT 2012 nearly lapping in the 120 mph bracket.
Dundrod 150 challenge and national wins alongside third place finishes in both supersport races meant both team and rider where delighted with results at the world’s fastest road race in 2012.
Millsport racing haven’t competed at any of the international road races for the last two years but the highly regarded team are set to make an enterprising return in 2015 where they look set to run high spec Suzuki’s.
