John McGuinness provided his latest moment of mountain course magic in the 2015 Pokerstars senior TT.
The Honda Racing rider produced one of his best TT performances of his career as he was victorious in a thrilling four lap race by over 14 seconds over second placed James Hillier to secure his 23rd TT victory.
On lap two of the blue riband senior TT John lapped at an astonishing 132.701 mph setting a new outright lap record, plus he was just three seconds out from lapping in the 17 minutes bracket, a quite incredible performance from the TT legend.
Rest of TT 2015 saw more good moments for Mcpint which included his 22nd TT win in TT zero race as set a new lap record for the electric bike class on Shinden Yon Mugen lapping at 119.279 mph.
Monster Energy supersport races provided John competing on Jackson Racing’s CBR 600 Honda with seventh and eighth place finishes.
Whilst Royal London 360 superstock TT would see eighth place finish finalised as he showed high quality form on his own teams CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade backed by EMC2.
Add in fourth place finish in RST superbike TT and overall with top quality results, two race wins and a new lap record it was another superb two weeks action at TT Races for John McGuinness.
Ever since making his TT debut in 1996 the road racing hero has established himself as one of the all time TT greats.
His performance in 2015 Pokerstars senior TT was proof once again of his incredible ability around the most iconic of all road race circuits.
Next pure road racing action coming up for John is anticipated to be at the classic TT races where he will be aiming for more mountain course magic.
