Derek Sheils Shows Top Class Mountain Course Form

Derek Sheils showed top class form around the mountain course during TT 2015 as he competed for the second time at the most famous road race in the world the Isle of Man TT.

After showing strong pace during opening lap of RST superbike TT reliability issues prevented Derek from securing a high quality result.

Opening Monster Energy supersport race saw the 2013 Irish road race superbike champion produce a highly accomplished performance on BikeBitsNI Racing ZX6R Kawasaki to finish a highly respectable 30th.

Another highlight of TT 2015 for Derek was lapping at 122.9 mph as he built up his speed around the road race circuit where stars, history and momentous moments are always seen.

Its already been a strong start to the 2015 road racing season for the rider tipped by many in the future to become a international road race winner.

2015 Cookstown 100 would prove to be a highly prodigious one for the runner up in 2009 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix.

Open and grand final races saw ZX10R Kawasaki mounted rider Derek secure back to back third place finishes as he produced top quality performances showing similar pace to Michael Dunlop and Guy Martin.

Amongst next road races on the horizon for Derek include the worlds fastest the Ulster Grand Prix, plus he is aiming to return to Oliver’s Mount with competition at the prestigious Scarborough Gold Cup a possibility.
