Lee Johnston enjoyed a quite dazzling TT 2015.
General Lee began race week with solid ninth place finish in RST superbike race following a highly accomplished performance on East Coast Racing’s top spec S1000RR BMW.
Monster Energy supersport race TT race 1 would prove to be a highly prodigious one for the three times international road race winner.
Fourth place finish was achieved which at the time was Lee’s new personal best result at TT Races, plus Lee finished leading 675 Daytona Triumph mounted rider.
Next up was the Royal London 360 superstock race, having shown strong pace throughout the four lap race, lap four would prove to be one of the most memorable laps of his pure road racing career so far.
Following personal best lap speed of 130.851 mph he achieved third place finish his first podium finish at the most famous road race in the world the Isle of Man TT.
A new aspect was added to Lee’s race schedule at TT 2015 which was competing for the first time on electric bike machinery in the TT zero race for Victory Motorcycles.
He secured his second third place finish in successive days following a top class display on Victory Motorcycles all new prototype machine.
Although reliability issues stopped Lee from securing further great results in lightweight and senior races it was still without a doubt his most successful TT Races to date.
He’s now part of a select group of riders to have achieved podium finishes at North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and now the Isle of Man TT.
Lee’s set to be in action at the upcoming Barry Sheene Festival Powered by Suzuki at Oliver’s Mount as he aims to keep up his superb form in what has been already a tremendous 2015 road racing season for the now 12th fastest rider in TT history.
