James Ford Targeting TT 2017

Fifth place finisher, in the 2013 Newcomers B Manx Grand Prix, James Ford is targeting competition at TT 2017, as he plans to compete for the first time at the TT Races.

His Mountain Course CV to date, includes top 30 finishes in the Formula 1 Classic TT encounters of 2014 and 2015, plus having the honour of been the only MV Agusta mounted rider in 2014, on the Isle of Man’s world famous roads.

A top 12 finisher at the Pre TT Classic races with Spencer Racing, the Worksop based team is planning to run James at TT 2017, on one of Suzuki’s high profile new GSX-R 1000R Suzuki’s, in the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock and Pokerstars Senior races.

Should James be successful with his entry for this years TT Races, it would yield him the distinction of competing alongside the likes of Michael Dunlop, Ian Hutchinson, John McGuinness, Bruce Anstey, Peter Hickman, Guy Martin, Michael Rutter and Dean Harrison.

Commenting on his excitement of entering TT 2017, James stated via his Facebook page:

“I’m going for it, my TT entry is in!, Suzuki’s 2017 GSX-R 1000R on its way.
