Isle of Man TT 2014 – Tuesday Practice Lightweight News

Ivan Lintin finished comfortably on top in lightweight practice tonight at Isle of Man TT. Ivan competing for Mckinstry racing lapped at a superb 117.297 mph.

Keith Amor’s return to TT action is gaining momentum and the flying Scotsman finished second quickest with lap speed of 115.595 mph. Keith’s team mate and KMR Kawasaki team manager Ryan Farquhar was sixth fastest lapping at 114.452 mph.

James Cowton is fast becoming arguably one of the biggest rising stars in road racing, tonight saw James finish in top three in lightweight practice lapping at 115.036 mph on Stewart Smith racing ER6 Kawasaki.

Ollie Linsdell and the Paton super twin had its first run out at TT 2014 and the iconic manufacturers return to Isle of Man TT began well with fourth quickest time in practice of 114.950 mph.

James Hillier reigning lightweight TT winner was fifth fastest for Quattro Plant Muc off Kawasaki whilst Gary Johnson proved the potential of CF moto/WK bikes super twin finishing seventh quickest with lap speed of 114.016 mph.

Jamie Hamilton was eighth fastest for Stewart Smith racing lapping at 113.677 mph. Dean Harrison and Lee Johnston rounded out the top ten after a good and exciting competitive lightweight practice session.
