Isle of Man TT 2013 – TT zero race preview

 

This years TT zero looks like being a competitive one. The Motocysz team lead the entry running reigning TT zero winner Michael Rutter and TT zero winner in 2010, Mark Miller.

 

In recent years the Motocsyz team has being the team to beat in the TT zero race and this years it looks like they start favorites again but also for this year the challenge to them for victory is better than ever.

 

Mugen performance finished second in the TT zero in 2012 with John Mcguinness on-board and for 2013 John is back with the Mugen team attempting to win the TT zero race. The Mugen bike for this year is called the Mugen Shinden Ni.

 

Local competitors at the TT Dave Moffitt and Chris mcgahan are entered in this years TT zero race, both are on different kinds of machinery with Dave riding for the ManTTx team and Chris competing for the Vercamoto team.

 

Yoshinari Matsushita from Japan competes in the 2013 TT zero race for the Komatti-Mirai racing team whilst George Spence is set to compete for the Kingston university team.

 

Also entered in this years TT zero race are Paul Owen, Antonio Maeso and 2009 TT zero race winner Rob Barber. The TT zero race features innovative forms of technology on uniquely engineered bikes which are sure to be seen as some of the motorcycles that could compete in the future in the superbike and senior TT races.
