Isle of Man TT 2013 – Thursday Practice – Supersport Practice News

Michael Dunlop set the pace during Thursday’s supersport practice session at this years Isle of Man TT. Michael lapped at 122.670 mph on the Mcadoo racing backed Honda CBR 600 supersport bike. Second quickest was Michael’s brother William Dunlop. William set a similar lap time to Michael’s with a lap speed of 122.259 mph on the Milwaukee Yamaha R6.

Guy Martin and Bruce Anstey both lapped at over 122 mph during supersport practice whilst Cameron Donald finished fifth quickest lapping at 121.973 mph. The Valmoto MV Agusta supersport bike showed good pace with Gary Johnson lapping at 120.609 mph. Conor Cummins went seventh fastest, Robert Wilson finished a good eighth quickest whilst Ivan Lintin and Dan Cooper completed the top 10 during practice.

James Coward competing on the Barnes racing R6 Yamaha went 11th fastest lapping at 118.268 mph. Russ Mountford, Jamie Hamilton, Ben Wylie and Ian Lougher rounded out the top 15 quickest riders during supersport practice.

One of the quickest TT newcomers during supersport practice was Sam Wilson. Sam competing for Logan racing lapped at 113.581 mph. Reigning junior Manx grand prix winner, Wayne Kirwan recorded a lap speed of over 115 mph on the Crossan motorcycles R6 Yamaha.
