Isle of Man TT 2013 – Solo newcomer practice news

Josh Brookes was the fastest newcomer in the opening practice tonight for TT newcomers. Josh lapped at 114.622 mph on the Tyco Suzuki by TAS superbike, Josh’s lap time was highly impressive. Branko Srdanov was the second quickest newcomer. Branko lapped at over 113.796 mph, Branko competing on the Ice Valley racing BMW by Motorsave ltd superstock bike was consistently quick during practice.

Jonathan Howarth competing on a Kawasaki superstock bike backed by Sheff Pack Ltd went well in the opening practice session of TT 2013 lapping at 109.262 mph. Horst Saiger also Kawasaki mounted lapped at 108.791 mph, another impressive lap time.

Son of former TT racer Paul Hunt, Gavin Hunt took to the TT course for the first time tonight lapping at 106.426 on the JAR Kawasaki superstock bike. The first ever rider from Brazil to compete at the TT Rafael Paschoalin lapped at 98.314 mph during the newcomers practice session. Rafael competing this year at the TT on a Ducati superstock bike is one of many newcomers to watch at this years TT.

AJ Venter and Steven Michels made good debuts during tonights practice. Both AJ and Steven lapped at over 96 mph. Rising road racing star Sam Wilson on his debut around the TT course lapped at a fantastic 108.391 mph on the Logan racing R6 Yamaha. Petre Pop the first ever rider from Romania to compete at the TT lapped at 101.01 mph during tonights opening practice session for this years TT newcomers.
