By In the 2010’s thus far, Herve Gantner is at present the only rider from Switzerland, to have competed in this decade at the Isle of Man TT.
The enthusiastic rider’s TT career to date, has provided him with many a positive moment, on the unique Mountain Course.
This includes a very respectable 27th place finish, in the second Monster Energy Supersport race at TT 2011, when competing under the Rhino Universal Honda banner.
His most recent TT Races campaign in 2013, saw him compete for the highly regarded Penz 13.Com BMW team.
Showing solid, consistent and accomplished form, he went onto record 26th and 32nd place finishes in the Superbike and Superstock races.
Recently Herve was unsuccessful with gaining the relevant licence, which would allowed him to compete at TT 2016.
With better luck on his side, plus the right machinery, it would not surprise me to see him back on the Mountain Course, for next years TT Races.
