By In recognition of securing the blue riband Senior TT title, allied to an overall extremely strong International roads campaign last year, Silicone Engineering Racing’s Dean Harrison claimed on Thursday night the prestigious Bradford Sportsman of the Year accolade.
Gaining the award in front of Cricket World Cup Champion Adil Rashid, Triathlete Andrew Dovernor, it’s the latest landmark in three time TT winner Harrison’s sporting career which has already yielded various tumultuous moments.

It’s also extremely positive news for the pure road racing scene, showcasing that the sport’s popularity is ever growing across Bradford and the whole Yorkshire county.
