David Johnson became Australia’s fastest competitor at TT Races following fantastic final lap during Pokerstars senior TT.
Piloting Smiths Racing S1000RR BMW Davo secured lap speed of 131.595 mph as he finished in ninth position in the blue riband race of TT 2015.
Alongside becoming Australia’s fastest rider around the mountain course, he’s also now the ninth fastest rider in TT history and one of only ten riders to have lapped at over 131 mph.
Further highlights of TT 2015 for David included top class sixth place finish in Royal London 360 superstock TT.
Monster Energy supersport races saw 11th and 10th place finishes recorded following high quality performances on Smiths Racing’s ultra fast 675 Daytona Triumph.
Add in tenth place finish in RST superbike TT and overall it’s been arguably his strongest Isle of Man TT to date.
He’s regarded by many as a future TT winner, a podium finish is within touching distance now for the rider who made his TT debut back in 2010.
Davo returns to action on the mountain course at the classic TT races.
For the 2015 formula 1 classic TT he’s all set to compete for team York Suzuki as he pushes for a standout result.
Following string of highly accomplished performances at TT 2015 David Johnson is firmly established now amongst the leading trio of competitors at TT Races.
An extremely bright future is in prospect for him at the Isle of Man TT.
