Competing for the third time around Oliver’s Mount Jay was in action on Trickbits FBM Performance 675 Daytona Triumph, its the same bike that propelled John Simpson to senior Manx Grand Prix victory in 2012.
Opening supersport 600 race would see the Aberdare Park Road Races specialist clinch highly creditable eighth place finish as he showed good form around the mount.
Modern senior race 1 saw Jay secure ultra impressive third place finish as he finished leading supersport 600 mounted rider.
Despite not finishing second supersport 600 and modern senior races, it was still overall a top class weekend of racing for Jay who developing into a specialist around Oliver’s Mount.
Next pure road race meeting coming up for Jay is the Aberdare Park Road Races.
He’s set to be amongst the favourites for victory in feature race of the meeting the prestigious Welsh open.
Alongside competing at Aberdare Park Jay is aiming to compete at the Horice Road Races in the Czech Republic which is set to mark the penultimate round of the 2015 international road racing championship.
