Dan Kneen has parted company with Burrows Engineering racing team for 2015 road racing season. Dan has this season enjoyed without a doubt the best season so far during his road racing career.
Grand final victory at Cookstown 100 was the perfect way to start the season for the 2008 junior Manx Grand Prix winner who then went onto secure open and grand final wins at Tandragee 100. Following a consistent North West 200 highly creditable results where acquired at TT 2014 which included lapping in the 129.3 bracket.
Succession of impressive performances where achieved at the Southern 100 which included second place finish in senior race finishing in front of 11 times Isle of Man TT winner Michael Dunlop. After third position in Southern 100 solo championship Dan headed into Walderstown road races confident of more top results.
Dan won a scintillating grand final race on Cookstown Burrows Engineering racing GSX-R 1000 Suzuki to carry on his growing momentum during this season. Adding in grand final wins at Kells, Skerries and Faugheen 50 races meant that Dan was comfortable winner of the 2014 Irish road race superbike championship.
Plus the hugely talented road racer achieved his first international road race win at this years Ulster Grand Prix winning a pulsating superstock race by 0.001 of a second over Dean Harrison.
