2014 Welsh open winner at Aberdare Park Road Races Daley Mathison is confirmed to compete in this year’s TT zero race.
Daley is all set to compete for Nottingham University team as he competes for the first time on an electric bike on the mountain course.
Back in 2013 the rising road racing star made his debut on the most famous road racing circuit in the world, newcomers A race saw him clinch top five finish.
TT 2014 saw Daley secure 35th and 41st place finishes following top quality performances on Hol Taj/team classic Suzuki backed GSX-R 600 Suzuki.
Further standout moments of last season included Ultra lightweight victory at the Ulster Grand Prix Daley’s first international road race victory.
Feature superbike race would see him achieve excellent sixth place which included finishing in front of eight times Isle of Man TT winner Ian Hutchinson.
The 2014 Scarborough gold cup would prove to be another extremely positive meeting following series of top quality results which included second position in opening superbike race and third in superbike race two.
This year’s TT zero race has attracted 15 entries which include John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey on Mugen’s, Shaun Anderson for Kingston University and now Daley Mathison for the Nottingham University team.
