Hoping to make history in late May/early June, by being the first Slovakian racer in history to compete at the TT Races, Czech roads front runner Miroslav Sloboda is aiming to tackle the Monster Energy Supersport and Bennetts Lightweight races at TT 2018.
A Mountain Course debutant last year, the re started three lap Newcomers A race won in record breaking fashion by Brad Vicars, saw him finish a very creditable ninth.
The following Junior race would yield a top 30 finish, along the way lapping at close to the 114.5 mph mark.
Runner up last year in the Super Twins race at Ostrava Radvanice, it’s good to see talented overseas racers such as Miroslav participating on the Mountain Course.
Barring his entries being successful, Miroslav’s machinery stable for TT 2018 includes sticking with YZF R6 Yamaha machinery, for the Monster Energy Supersport races.
Alongside prospective participation at TT 2018, he’s also planning to compete this year at selected IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) meetings, including those at Horice and the newly reinstated round at Terlicko.
