CF Moto Aiming To Topple Kawasaki In The 2016 Lightweight TT

Since the super twins where integrated into the TT Races in 2012, the ER6 Kawasaki has been the machine to beat.

Could this change though at TT 2016, as CF Moto bid to become only the second manufacturer to win the lightweight TT since it’s return four years ago.

CF Moto made their TT debut in 2013 as Tsingtao Racing’s lead the manufacturer from China’s challenge. Although David Johnson was a retirement in the lightweight race, the marque still gained many a positive, from their first TT experience.

TT 2014 and TT 2015 has seen two time TT winner Gary Johnson, Paul Owen, Callum Laidlaw and Chris McGahan all CF Moto mounted.

Looking to TT 2016 Gary Johnson is set to compete on a factory backed CF Moto super twin, as he bids to add to his current tally of six TT podium finishes, which includes two supersport race victories.

Back in 1958 when Honda first competed at the Isle of Man TT, many people did not think that they would in the future win races around the mountain course, they have gone onto become the most successful marque in history at the most iconic of all pure road races.

Honda was’nt successful over night it took them time to become podium contenders, same applies to CF Moto.

They have shown in the last three years there ambition to become a race winning company at TT Races, in Gary Johnson they have the ideal rider to give them possibly their first TT podium finish, this year.
