Aprilia’s lightweight TT challenge for TT 2015 looks set to be lead by Trevor Scott racing. The team showed good pace during practice week at TT 2014 with Shaun Anderson and the 2010 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix runner up is looking forward to competing for second year in succession on the teams highly rated 550 Aprilia.

Mountain course specialist Roy Richardson was also Aprilia mounted for this years lightweight TT. Roy competing on Gleve engineering backed 550 Aprilia like Shaun showed good pace during TT 2014 and expectations are good for the future that the Aprilia super twin can be competitive up against the dominant ER6 Kawasaki’s in super twins class.
Preparations are already underway for TT 2015 for Trevor Scott racing whilst Shaun Anderson is delighted to be continuing with the enthusiastic team. Having made his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2010 the rider tipped by many to soon become an established front runner at the Isle of Man TT is looking forward to competing for the sixth time on the most famous road racing circuit in the world in 2015.

Aprilia have been known over the years for their superbikes and superstocker’s, Trevor Scott racing and Gleve engineering’s entries into lightweight race at TT 2014 was the popular marques first jaunt into the arena of the hugely competitive race. There’s every chance that the Italian motorcycle manufacturer could have its first top ten TT finish in multiple years next year in the lightweight TT.
