After 1000cc categories, our next Landshaag 2026 hill-climb preview, looks at Supersport/Superstock 600 fields, other classes, and the event time-schedule.
Last year’s Landshaag time-trial extravaganza, featured various record-breaking lap-times, as previously illustrated in previous article, David Datzer (SBK/STK 1000/overall) plus young Austrian talent Alexander Kastenhuber, setting the new Supersport yardstick time (1.12.897).
For nine years the No.1 600cc class record holder was Italian legend, Delmo Racing R7 Yamaha Sportbike TT 2026 exponent, Francesco Curinga (1.13.020 at Landshaag – 2016).
Pictured within this article’s feature image, the already spotlighted Alexander Kastenhuber (P1 SSP – P2 STK 600 – Landshaag 2025), will be the top favourite this week for Supersport/Moto 2 honours.
As we informed in the opening event preview digest, 2025 Landshaag Supersport class runner-up, five-times European Hill Climb Road Race Supersport Champion Maurizio Bottalico, is missing from the start-list.
Home nation riders looking to make their mark include Mario Gastinger, Stefan Gastinger (the man on the Landshaag 2026 race poster), Martin Hintringer, Emanuel Reisinger, Kevin Kolmhofer, Thomas Lukas and Max Oberlaitner.
Potential 2026 Manx Grand Prix newcomer, German Moritz Klaus (three times top ten IRRC Supersport race finisher in 2025) pilots CBR 600 Honda apparatus, another announced prospective MGP debutant Thomas ‘Uccio’ Altendorfer has his first competitive outing astride 765 Triumph machinery (Special Bikes tackle as well).
Landshaag newbie, Czech Republic rider Leos ‘Magda’ Hlavacek (entered in SBK races – 2014 Dymokury SBK race winner), Italian racers Edoardo Rea, Daniele Stolli, Marco Gabrielli, Emiliano Di Folco, German hill-climb specialist Uwe Rademacher and French aces Loic Sirot, Yoan Poloni, Simon Romieu, female rider from France-Montagne scene, Julie ‘Juju’ Orlando add additional depth to the entry.
Speaking of leading female road racers, Czech speedster Kristyna ‘Kiki’ Jakesch is back at Landshaag after meeting premiere last year (Triumph vaulted for Special Bikes, Yamaha powered for Supersport 300).
Fastest female event pilot of 2025, Julbach’s Svenja Wurm will not be competing due to injuries from a pre-season testing incident. Get well soon ‘Svenschi’!
The 250cc class contains nine-times European Hill Climb Road Race GP 250 Champion, Italian ace, Guido Testoni, his father Angelo Testoni, Belgium’s Bernard Depierreux, Switzerland’s Rolf Haller, previously mentioned Frenchman Simon Romieu.
Ones to watch on Supermoto steeds include Salvatore ‘Salvo’ Sallustro, Philipp Neumuller, Stefan Kuktits, Philippe Bongard, and female rider Petra Fischer.
In total the 2026 Landshaag entry boasts over three-hundred entries with diverse start-lists through all classes (those already show-cased plus Sidecars, Classic Sidecars, Young-Timers, Classics, 125 cc, 500 cc).
