Isle of Wight motorsport great Ryan Whitehall is the latest Manx Grand Prix to TT Races graduate, to verify Supersport, 1000cc race steeds.
Third within last year’s Supersport MGP, the 2024 Cookstown 100 Grand Final podium finisher recently undertook Castle Combe testing sessions aboard his big-bike vault for TT 2026, an ex-Jim Hind GSXR 1000 Suzuki, still resplendent in Barry Sheene tribute colours (livery to change).
Whitehall’s middleweight category machine sees him YZF R6 Yamaha propelled, thanks to Barry Gissing and the North Lincs Components squad.
Uber enthused about May, June’s Mountain Course competition, he holds respective fifty, forty-eight plate numbers for Superbike/Superstock/Senior and Supersport contest outings.
Before TT endeavours take precedence, Whitehall’s opening IOM racing charge of 2026, will revolve around the Motor Isle Billown Course, for the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races.
As at August’s Classic TT, Whitehall will compete for Motorcycle Photography Racing on 750 Yamaha equipment.
