Seasoned Mountain Course exponent Rhys Hardisty is set to step up to the TT Races next year, as he joins forces with event mainstays The People’s Bike Team.
Planning to pilot S1000RR BMW machinery in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior races at TT 2018, the Welshman speaking today via The People’s Bike Facebook group page, expressed his delight at joining the team which has a proven track record at the most famous road race in the world.
He stated:
“I feel very pleased, excited and privileged to be working with the People’s Bike for the new chapter in our Isle of Man mountain course assault.
After racing for a few years at the Manx hopefully we can move forward and improve and move closer to the dream.”

The lead Privateer within the 2015 Lightweight Classic TT who finished a very respectable 11th in this years Senior Manx Grand Prix, went onto add:
“Together with the People’s Bike I feel hopeful and excited about the future, although I feel at home up to my nipples in grease and oil on the end of a spanner it will be ace to have the team there to share the load and relieve the pressure.
I’m really looking forward to blasting down Bray Hill on the BMW, returning safely with a smile, and to eat cake!! and to see the dog!!”
