Ulster Grand Prix 2015 – Sparkling Displays From Peter Hickman

Peter Hickman produced multiple performances of the highest quality, during the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix.

Superstock race saw Hicky piloting Briggs Equipment backed S1000RR BMW, finish a fine second, just missing out race victory by only 0.090 of a second, after a thrilling battle with Lee Johnston.

Supersport races would see the eighth fastest rider in TT history, show his proven quality on TROOPER backed MV Agusta.

Extracting the maximum out of the MV Agusta, Peter secured sixth and seventh place finishes, as he continued to prove why he is considered by many to be a Ulster GP legend in the making.

Fourth place finish was recorded in blue riband feature superbike race, having been involved in a titanic duel for victory with Bruce Anstey, Ian Hutchinson, Lee Johnston and Conor Cummins.

Second superbike race would prove to be a quite memorable one, for the quickest newcomer in history around Dundrod.

Having surged into race lead by the end of lap one, from here Hicky kept up a top class pace to lead onto the final lap.

Despite coming under pressure from Conor Cummins, he held his nerve to seal his first international road race victory by just 0.028 of a second.

With superbike race two victory, second place finish in superstock race, lapping in excess of 133 mph, Peter Hickman showed why he is rated so highly at the world’s fastest road race.

Peter is all set to return to the mountain course, at the Classic TT Races, where he is competing on Mistral Racing’s ZXR 750 Kawasaki.
