Derek McGee became an international road race winner for the first time at the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix, as he secured a popular victory in super twins race.
Competing on his own teams ER6 Kawasaki backed by Shane Wogan, Derek held off a determined challenge from reigning Duke Road Race Rankings champion James Cowton.

It’s been a tremendous season in super twins class for Derek. Alongside Ulster GP victory, he’s been victorious at Tandragee 100, Kells, Skerries, Walderstown.
Following second place finish at Armoy Road Races, 2015 Irish road race super twins championship was wrapped up by the reigning Irish road race supersport champion.
Derek has shown this season, why he is amongst pure road racing’s fastest rising stars. He made an eye catching debut on the mountain course at TT 2015, recording highly impressive 11th place finish in lightweight TT.
Next pure road race meeting, coming up for him is the Faugheen 50 Road Races, where he is tipped to secure standout results in open, supersport, super twin, grand final races.
