Tuukka Korhonen, regarded by many as Finland’s leading pure road racer, has completed TC Racing’s line up for TT 2016.
Tuukka is all set to compete for the DP Coldplaning backed outfit in the lightweight race, like the vast majority of the field he will be ER6 Kawasaki mounted.
Back in 2013 at the Manx Grand Prix, he competed for Mick Charnock’s team, eleventh position in the super twins race, showcased his future potential of becoming quite possibly a podium threat in the lightweight TT.
Last years lightweight TT saw him finish a highly creditable thirteenth, as he enjoyed one of his most momentous moments to date around the Mountain Course.
Embarking on his third appearance at the Isle of Man TT, Tuukka has the proven quality in the super twins class, to push for at least a top ten finish.
Don’t be surprised as well to see him in contention for a top six finish, during the four lap lightweight TT, scheduled to take place on the eighth of June.
Joining Tuukka at DP Coldplaning/TC Racing for TT 2016 are Sweden’s Bjorn Gunnarsson in the supersport and lightweight races, plus TT newcomer Victor Cox set for action in the superbike, superstock and blue riband senior TT.
