TT Privateers Champion Coward Set For Pastures New After Parting Company With PreZ Racing

Current TT Privateers Champion Jamie Coward is set for pastures new in 2021, after parting company with leading Manx roads team PreZ Racing.

Last season saw Hebden Bridge’s Coward jump up multiple levels, enjoying without question his best road race campaign to date.

At a glance main highlights for the Super Twins lap record holder at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, included the aforementioned TT Privateers title, Southern 100 podium finishes, Junior Classic TT triumph.

Rostrums at the North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix, finishing just over 1.25 seconds shy of taking Lightweight TT honours and becoming the fastest Yamaha mounted racer in TT history.

Speaking via Twitter about the decision to leave PreZ Racing, Coward who has been in top draw form throughout 2020 aboard the KTS Racing Kawasaki Super Twin stated in succinct, candid fashion:

“After much deliberation and consideration, I have decided to part company with Prez Racing. I’d like to Thank John and Zandra Preston for everything they have done!!!”
