Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness showed true determination at TT 2014. Battling a persistent wrist injury John competing for Honda racing gritted his teeth in the Dainese superbike TT race to record seventh place finish.
Opening Monster energy supersport race saw the Morecambe missile finish in 15th place on Valvoline racing Padgetts motorcycles CBR 600 Honda. Royal London 360 superstock race would see John give it everything in battling to a top ten finish.
TT zero race looked set to see John’s best chance of claiming another victory on the mountain course. On the Shinden Ni Mugen the twenty times TT winner made it TT win number 21 after a masterful ride which included new TT zero lap record with lap speed of over 117.3 mph.

This result gave John added confidence going into Pokerstars senior TT. Honda racing superbike never missed a beat as he went onto acquire a highly creditable top six finish. A fantastic performance from John who’s TT this year has being blighted by a wrist injury.

Despite this the TT legend has proved that when he is back to full fitness fighting for wins in the superbike, superstock and senior races are more than possible.
