TT 2018: Cummins Confident Of Quicker Lap Speeds For Senior Race

Reflecting on a great second place finish in today’s RST Superbike race, Padgetts Racing’s Conor Cummins stated in the ensuing press conference that he’s confident of nudging near sub 17 minute laps, for Friday’s showpiece Pokerstars Senior race.

Speaking about this topic the well liked Manxman now officially the fifth fastest racer in TT history, following a quickest lap speed today of 132.589 mph, stated:

“I feel like it’s just coming towards me, coming to me, my riding, my pace is coming, it’s improving each time I get on the bike.

We’ve been making little tweaks to the bike (Padgetts Honda Superbike) all week, again thanks to the Padgetts team, the main man Clive, every time we get on the bike were going forward.

I’m loving racing me bikes, I think I don’t want to shout me mouth off but I think we’ve got pace for certainly into the low 17’s.”
