Unfortunately inclement weather has curtailed Thursday nights practice session at TT 2017, causing further disruption to an already tough practice week.
It has to be said the cancellation of tonight’s action on the Mountain Course, is not unexpected due to a mixture of rain, mist and fog been forecast throughout the day.
Despite the delay’s, from walking around the paddock today, the general mood is pretty positive albeit frustrated cause of the lack of track time, with multiple riders, fans and marshals soaking up the unique atmosphere that the TT provides.
The practice schedule for Thursday evening, will now move onto Friday, which fingers crossed will be graced by better weather.
Ian Hutchinson currently tops the Superbike practice leader board, via last night’s lap speed of 128.987, Lee Johnston heads the Supersport standings, Paton’s Michael Rutter yields the numero uno position on the Lightweight machines and Dan Kneen occupies the top spot within the Superstock fraternity.
Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle top the Sidecar time sheets, in what has been an immensely difficult last couple of days for the three wheeling field, who’s last competitive action was on Tuesday.
