TT 2017: Superbike Sunday/Race Week Schedule Changes Confirmed Following Practice Problems

The RST Superbike race will now take place on Sunday, following the persistent weather problems, throughout practice week, halting multiple upon multiple competitors of gaining the laps needed to qualify for the races, that they are participating in, at TT 2017.

The new look race schedule, will see the six lap race run from 2PM on Sunday, following a full day of practice on Saturday, which will include two Sidecar practice sessions.

Monday on the Mountain Course, sees the opening Monster Energy Supersport race, set to run as scheduled, which will now be followed by the first of the two Sure Sidecar races.

This now means that the Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock race, will take place just past 12 o clock on Tuesday.

It’s not at all surprising to see this new schedule confirmed, for the early part of the TT 2017 race week.

3rd June:

10:40-12:00 PM – Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers Practice
12:05-1:05 PM – Sidecar Practice
2:10-3:30 PM – Supersport/Lightweight/Newcomers Practice
3:40-4:30 PM – Sidecar Practice
4:35 PM – 1 Lap Superbike/Superstock/Supersport Practice
5:00 PM – 1 Lap TT Zero Practice

4th June:

2:00 PM – RST Superbike Race
4:25 PM – 1 Lap Sidecar Practice
4:40 PM – 1 Lap TT Zero Practice

5th June:

10:45 PM – Monster Energy Supersport Race 1
12:45 PM – 1 Lap Superstock Practice
2:15 PM – Sure Sidecar Race 1
3:50 PM – 1 Lap Superbike/Superstock/Lightweight Practice
4:05 PM – 1 Lap TT Zero Practice

6th June:

12:15 PM – Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock Race
2:15 PM – 2 Lap Sidecar Practice
3:40 PM – 1 Lap Lightweight Practice
3:55 PM – 1 Lap TT Zero Practice
