TT 2017: Opening Practice Session Cancelled

The opening practice session of TT 2017, has been cancelled due to mist and deteriorating weather conditions affecting parts of the Mountain Course.

This now means that newcomers Joe Thompson (Team ILR), Adam McLean (MSS/Hotties) and Paul Jordan (Site Sealants B&W Racing) are scheduled to gain their first competitive laps of the most famous road racing circuit in the world, on Monday evening.

Same applies to Sidecar newcomers Gary Gibson/Darryl Gibson, Geir Johnsen, and passengers Mark Wilkes, Scott Hardie, Jody James, Frenchman Goulven Crochemore and Vicky Cooke.

Guy Martin and Josh Brookes high profile returns to TT competition, are now put back at least till Monday night, which is also set to mark the TT debut’s for high profile new machines such as Suzuki’s GSX-R 1000, Honda’s CBR 1000RR Fireblade SP2, Kawasaki’s ZX-10RR and Norton’s SG6.

Of course all of this, is weather permitting, so as many have been stating online today, fingers crossed the weather holds!.
